MEASUREMENTS

When some of our experts visit your home for measurements, they will use the LT-55 XL Laser Templator and complete a precise template of your kitchen or bathroom with accuracy of +/- 1/16” for measurements up to 50 feet and proceed to manufacture your customized granite countertop quickly and with as little frustration as possible.

By using the LT-55 Laser, we make sure that your countertops are cut to the precise measurements regardless of curves and oddities of the surfaces in your home. This technology allows us to guarantee that your granite countertop will be measured and cut to perfection.

FABRICATION

To start, your custom made layout will be perfectly matched with your stone veins. Then, in addition to using the LT-55 Lasers, we will cut your granite slab to the obtained precise measurements using a CNC Machine. By using this technology, we will be providing invisible seams and flawless cutouts for sinks and other appliances.

Having this process in mind, we won’t have the need for additional cutting or sanding of the stone on site. Some of the other companies may bring granite slabs to your home with only the larger cuts made and would proceed to hand measuring and cuting the stone for appliances and fixtures. This can result in gaps between the stone and the sink or wall and/or undesired edging to try and get the stone to fit. However, we are bringing a ready product to your home and we make sure that there are no mistakes.

PRODUCT INSTALLATION

Our team of experts is compiled of seasoned professionals who take their job seriously and take full responsibility throughout the whole process. In the two decades of doing contractor work with granite countertops installation, nothing can surprise us and we are ready for anything.
When the installation time comes, the first step is to schedule your installation appointment. Such installation process would only take a couple of hours and we will provide several available time slots for you to choose from.

Once we arrive to your home, we will fit a piece of plywood on top of all of your base cabinets. The plywood will act as a support for the granite and will allow for clearance of the edging, drawers, and doors.

We use Asinus 350 Lift System for safe and easy loading, transportation and installation of granite kitchen or bathroom countertops up to 770 pounds. Such system reduces body effort, ensuring the customer that no one will do any lifting and that the countertops will be safely transported. This also means that fewer individuals are required for installation, reducing the cost of labor.

After we set the stone in place, we will proceed to leveling the seams to give the appearance of one large piece of stone. We’d then use screws to adjust the height of the slab from underneath to raise and lower the countertop.

Once we see that the surface is perfectly leveled, we will lift the granite and apply an adhesive underneath to fix the countertop in place. This is also the step where we add the sink and caulk the edges to make it waterproof. The seams will then be filled with colored adhesive to give the countertop a cohesive look and to avoid any food or germs accumulation on the countertop surface. At the end, we will clean and polish your stone, leaving you with a shiny new countertop to enjoy.

Please note, that once we come to terms on the price, measurements at the customer’s home or premises are made. After agreeing on the final quote, a 50% deposit is required from the customer. Starting from that point in time, the countertop will be delivered and installed within 5-7 business days. If the chosen type of stone is not in our stock, the project will be completed within up to 10 business days.
